As President of Welsh Construction, Bill Krake manages the division’s operations in the Twin Cities and nationally. Overseeing a division with 44 employees, Bill has helped grow Welsh Construction and produce an exceptionally high repeat client base.
Bill’s primary role is to understand the needs of our customers, and then guide a strong team that provides exceptional service and delivers results. Bill’s leadership and commitment to quality result in projects that are completed on-time and on-budget. Bill oversees a highly-skilled, dedicated staff that includes project managers, superintendents, and carpenters. Welsh Construction provides a complete scope of services in all areas of office, industrial, healthcare, industrial / manufacturing, retail, multi-family and senior housing, and investment real estate.
Throughout his 30 year career in commercial construction, Bill has been responsible for the oversight of major developments throughout the Upper Midwest. As President of CB Richard Ellis Construction, Bill negotiated and managed multiple million-dollar projects and a staff of construction professionals. Prior to CB Richard Ellis, Bill spent 12 years with Ryan Companies as a Project Manager and Division Manager. During his tenure, Bill directed a variety of projects including the renovation of Toro Companies’ world headquarters in Bloomington and the extensive renovation of the offices of Dorsey & Whitney law firm. Bill joined Welsh in 1999.
