Welsh Construction Wins NAIOP Award of Excellence for HealthEast Medical Transportation Facility

Welsh Construction was granted an Award of Excellence from the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) for HealthEast Medical Transportation Facility.
The 46,119-square-foot facility comprises office/warehouse space with parking accommodations for 117 vehicles. It was designed and constructed to the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Silver specifications, with detailed efficiencies in building layout to accommodate regions of administration, operations and vehicle services.
The facility provides for the continued growth of the EMS community, and supports the latest technology for continuing education and training of paramedics and emergency department staff.
The NAIOP Awards of Excellence recognize exceptional new and renovated office, industrial, mixed-use and special purpose developments in the State of Minnesota. Projects are judged on site improvements and design, architectural integrity, market feasibility, project success, and overall impression.
