The award seeks nominations of metro-area leaders from organizations who have a track record of business success. The nominations aren’t judged solely on professional accomplishments, but also considers individuals who make outstanding contributions to their industry and the Minneapolis-St. Paul community. Over 70 nominations were submitted to the second annual Most Admired CEOs award project.

Kane began her career in 1987 as a property manager. Her hard work and dedication was rewarded as she moved into other divisions, gaining expertise in asset management, financing and acquisitions and dispositions. She was appointed President and Chief Operating Officer in 2001 and in 2012 was named Chief Executive Officer.
