The Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal has selected Welsh as one of the ‘Best Places to Work’ in the Twin Cities for the second consecutive year.

Welsh is one of 15 medium-sized companies, and 55 companies overall, to have made the list in 2010. Rankings will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday, Aug. 26. Winning companies are determined by a third-party online employee survey that asks staff to rate their companies’ work environment, people practices, personal growth and development opportunities, day-to-day operations, and innovation and new ideas.

“We are honored that our employees continue to rate Welsh highly. We are committed to providing programs, resources, and a good workplace culture to help make our valued employees successful,” said Rhonda Allen, Vice President, Human Resources.

The Star Tribune recently cited Welsh as a ‘Top Workplace’ in the Twin Cities, ranking among the top 35 midsize companies. In 2009, Welsh held the No.1 Best Place to Work ranking for medium-sized companies from the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal. The company has also been named among the ‘Best of the Best’ by Midwest Real Estate News and has received three consecutive Wellness by Design Worksite Awards from Hennepin County for promoting a worksite culture that supports employee health and well-being.
